Accounting Office Manager
We are seeking an Accounting Office Manager to join our team in Los Angeles. This newly dedicated position offers the opportunity to bring greater structure, consistency, and ownership to our accounting and administrative processes. You will play a crucial role in contributing to the efficiency and profitability of our US-based operations.
Responsibilities- Process customer invoices and shipments.
- Handle supplier purchase orders and payments.
- Support stock management activities.
- Collect and process customer payments.
- Process and track company expenses.
- Assist with financial reporting and accounting in partnership with the Finance Manager.
- Perform general administrative and office duties.
- Establish and implement effective administrative practices for the Los Angeles office.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Word and Excel.
- Experience with accounting operations and invoice processing.
- Familiarity with international shipping and logistics.
- Capability in independent office administration and office management.
Skills & Qualifications
- High school diploma, GED, or equivalent.
- Associate or Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Business Administration, or equivalent professional experience.
- At least one year of experience or training in an office-administration or accounting environment.
- Working knowledge of accounting software.
- Excellent record-keeping ability.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Customer-service orientation and strong attention to detail.
The position is based onsite at our Los Angeles office, with a part-time schedule of approximately 20 hours per week. The preferred coverage is Monday and Wednesday, from 7:30 to 10:30 a.m., to align with the UK-based Finance Manager's onsite periods. The remaining hours can be coordinated with the team, and there is flexibility for scheduling conflicts. The role is within a global organization that designs and manufactures instruments for natural and synthetic fiber-testing laboratories, with applications in hair care, skin care, composite technology, and natural-fiber research.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Los Angeles, CA.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $30.00 - $32.00/hr.
Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
