We are seeking a Legal Assistant to support the legal and contracts function within RIOS firm by assisting with contract administration, compliance, and risk management activities. This role works closely with the legal team to ensure contracts, agreements, and legal documentation are accurate, organized, and aligned with firm policies and industry standards.
Key Responsibilities- Assist in the collection of fully executed contracts by proactively following up with internal teams to ensure documents are complete, signed and logged in Vantagepoint
- Drafting CRFs
- Maintain organized records of executed agreements
- Organize and maintain digital records, including saving certificates, into designated folders with accurate naming
- Support internal and external audits by retrieving records
- Assist in the collection of fully executed contracts by proactively following up with internal teams to ensure all documents are completed, signed, and logged in VP
- Assist in the collection of fully executed contracts
- Assist in the collection of data for required internal reports and inputting of data into VP
- Provide administrative support such as scheduling, correspondence, and document management
- Help with tasks as needed
- High school diploma or equivalent required; associate’s degree, bachelor’s degree, or legal studies certificate preferred
- 3+ years of experience in a legal, contracts, or administrative role
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and document management systems
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple deadlines in a fast-paced, project-based environment
- Professional demeanor and discretion when handling confidential information
- Experience working in an architecture, engineering, or construction (AEC) preferred
- Familiarity with AIA contract documents and consultant agreements preferred
Salary Description
$65,000+ D.O.E.
