Position Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented Escrow Assistant to support escrow officers and ensure the smooth coordination of transactions from opening through closing. This role requires strong organizational skills, accuracy in documentation, and the ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast‑paced environment. The ideal candidate is proactive, dependable, and committed to delivering excellent service to clients and partners throughout the escrow process.
Key Responsibilities Transaction Support & File Management- Assist escrow officers with opening new escrow files and preparing initial documentation.
- Maintain organized and accurate escrow files, ensuring all paperwork is complete and compliant.
- Track timelines and follow up on outstanding documents to keep transactions on schedule.
- Prepare settlement statements, closing packages, and related documentation for review.
- Communicate with buyers, sellers, agents, lenders, and other stakeholders to gather required information.
- Schedule signings, closings, and appointments as needed.
- Provide timely updates to clients and partners regarding transaction status.
- Respond to general inquiries and route complex issues to escrow officers when necessary.
- Verify basic transaction details, including title information, taxes, and loan documentation under supervision.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and industry regulations.
- Assist with data entry, document preparation, and recordkeeping.
- Support escrow officers with administrative tasks and workflow coordination.
- 1-3 years of escrow, title, real estate, or administrative support experience preferred.
- Basic understanding of escrow and closing processes is a plus.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and general office software; escrow software experience is preferred.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Excellent organizational skills with high attention to detail.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast‑paced environment.
