Paralegal

Scion Staffing has been engaged to conduct a search for a Paralegal for a legal administration services firm. This is an on-site, temp-to-perm opportunity based in Woodland Hills, California.

POSITION OVERVIEW

The Paralegal will play a critical role in supporting bankruptcy case preparation, with a strong focus on Schedules and Statements of Financial Affairs (SOFAs). This position serves as a primary point of contact for clients and collaborates closely with internal teams to ensure accurate, timely case filings. This is a fast-paced, detail-oriented role supporting high-impact bankruptcy matters.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Prepare, review, and process Schedules and Statements of Financial Affairs (SOFAs)
• Compile and manage data for the Creditor Matrix and related case materials
• Serve as the primary client contact, managing communications and follow-ups
• Track outstanding items and ensure deadlines are met across assigned cases
• Collaborate with internal case management, claims, and noticing teams

QUALIFICATIONS

• Demonstrated bankruptcy experience, including preparation of Schedules and SOFAs
• Strong attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple deadlines
• Working knowledge of bankruptcy procedures, forms, and filings
• Clear, professional written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to thrive in a high-volume, deadline-driven environment

COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS

• Hourly rate targeting $42.50/hr
• Temp-to-perm opportunity
• Standard work schedule: 10:00 AM – 7:00 PM
• Overtime and occasional weekend coverage as needed
