Position: Biller (Law Firm Experience Required)
Position: Biller
Location: Downtown Los Angeles, CA (Hybrid*, 1 day onsite/week after training)
Pay: $90,000 to $95,000 annually
Experience: 3+ years of billing or accounting experience to work closely with the billing team to ensure accurate and timely billing, reporting, and coordination between all offices.

Kent Daniels & Associates is seeking a Biller to join our dynamic law firm client!
Job Description:Prepare/review complex billing (multi-payer, fixed fee, and split billing arrangements), finalize, review for accuracy, and submit.Ensure accuracy/compliance in billing entries, task codes, and discounts with client billing guidelines and eBilling requirements.Serve as the primary point of contact for billing-related inquiries from clients, providing timely and professional responses; continuously striving to improve client service and deliverables.Clarify billing details and resolve discrepancies with diplomacy and accuracy.Obtain and document required approvals for deferrals, write-offs, and time transfers.Research billing data, preparing monthly reporting, data pulls, and billing summaries, and providing detailed analysis to attorneys.Maintain accurate documentation of client billing requirements and track updates or changes.Perform quality checks to ensure accuracy before submission.Communicate with international offices to gather billing information and resolve inquiries.Collaborate on special projects, audits, and cleanup efforts; provide support during system updates/process enhancements.Maintain ownership of issues from start to resolution, escalating complex matters to the appropriate teams.Participate in training/development initiatives, remaining current on billing systems, tools, and policies, identifying opportunities to improve/streamline billing processes and workflows.Mentor and support junior team members to promote consistency and best practices.Position Requirements:
Strong knowledge of MS Office (Excel, Word, Outlook) and the ability to learn and adapt to new software are required.Must have a strong attention to detail and organizational skills to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.Excellent communication skills with a customer-focused mindset, proactive approach to problem-solving, and eagerness to learn are needed. Experience with 3E or Elite Enterprise is preferred.Must have professionalism and discretion in handling client and financial information.Experience working in a law firm environment preferred.Benefits:
