Join the Department of Anesthesiology & Perioperative Medicine as a Research Administrator 2 and play a key role in advancing innovative research. In this position, you will provide comprehensive pre- and post-award administration for a diverse portfolio of intramurally and extramurally funded research projects. Working closely with Principal Investigators (PIs), you'll support the full research administration lifecycle—from proposal development and award setup to financial management, compliance, reporting, and project closeout.

As part of a collaborative team, you'll partner with a Senior Research Administrator to deliver strategic, high-quality portfolio management while contributing to the department's research mission and continued success.

Hourly range: $35.23-$53.67

Required:

• Bachelor's Degree in Finance or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• 3+ years of research administration experience.
• 3+ years of financial, clerical, or administrative experience.
• Interpersonal skills to effectively communicate information and establish cooperative working relationships. Ability to work as a member of a team.
• Ability to establish and maintain cooperative and effective working relationships with various stakeholders.
• Ability to set priorities and complete ongoing tasks with competing deadlines.
• Close attention to detail in a fast-paced, fluctuating workload environment.
• Demonstrated proficiency with Adobe and Microsoft suite software, especially Excel.

Preferred:

• Strong organizational skills to effectively create and maintain administrative and financial files.
