Policy Processing Assistant

Tokio Marine HCC – Surety Group, a member of the Tokio Marine Group of Companies, has an opportunity for a Policy Processing Assistant at our Los Angeles office. We are looking for an individual who is efficient, accurate and detail-oriented and who enjoys the trusted responsibility of processing official documents.

• Accurately entering surety court bond information into databases
• Creating and organizing electronic files and documents
• Processing premium adjustments for surety court bonds depending upon various factors

• During the first 30 days:
  Learn about surety court bonds. Enter data and documents in our file management systems Salesforce and  Become familiar with Peoplesoft. Assist with mail.
• During the first 3 months:
  Understand and process court bond adjustment and closure requests. Prepare invoices in collaboration with the Accounts Receivable team.
• During the first 6 months and beyond:
  Accurately and efficiently process up to 300 court bonds and up to 300 adjustments/closures per month.

• Experience with data entry, file organization
• Educational requirements:
  
  High school diploma or equivalent

• Customer service mindset – eager to help, regardless of the task
• Quick to understand processes and procedures
• High attention to detail and accuracy
• Teamwork, planning and organizational skills
• Excellent interpersonal skills

For candidates working in person in Los Angeles, the reasonable pay range for this specific position is $20.31 to $27.95 per hour. The salary offered for this specific position is based on a number of legitimate, non-discriminatory factors set by the Company.
