Admin Assistant
Tyler Park Presents is looking for a part-time Gallery Assistant. This is an entry-level role, two days a week, Friday and Saturday 11am - 6pm. You’ll also need to attend gallery openings, which are in addition to the regular schedule.
Qualified candidates must have previous experience of completing a gallery internship. Strong candidates will have experience in customer service, hospitality, retail, administrative support, or similar work previously in other industries. You must be comfortable with Apple software and hardware, Google Mail, Google Calendar, and art inventory systems. Entry level art handling and packing skills are needed.
The Gallery Assistant position requires a professional, positive, and approachable person when answering writing emails and talking with gallery visitors. The position has room to grow and learn on the job as it progresses.
The position is paid $25 an hour with commission (10% of gallery net) on sales. Sales are not required, but are incentivized with commission. Paid time off and Sick time are also provided and accrue over time.
