As a Project Assistant in our Pasadena office, you will help us empower our clients to achieve energy-efficient building solutions, save global environments, and create a better, greener future for all.

Job Type:

Part-time, limited-term employment for an initial three-month period, with the possibility of extension depending on business needs and departmental requirements.

Work Schedule:

24 hours per week on-site, Monday through Wednesday. The expected schedule is three 8-hour workdays, preferably starting at 8:00 AM. Start and end times may be adjusted to meet business and departmental needs.

Why We Need You:

In this role, you will be responsible for activities that support timely, high-quality, and efficient project execution across projects of various sizes, scopes, and complexities. You will work closely with a project coordinator and with internal and external team members, including clients. You’ll handle administrative tasks in line with AEI's policies and standards.

Minimum Qualifications:
  • Associates degree or commensurate experience.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to communicate clearly, professionally, and effectively with both internal and external contacts.
  • Strong organization and time management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced work environment.
  • Ability to effectively prioritize and manage multiple tasks while maintaining accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Strong collaboration and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with team members and coordinate with individuals across all levels of the organization.
  • Ability to build and maintain professional working relationships with internal teams, clients, vendors, consultants, and other external contacts.
  • Ability to adapt to changing priorities and respond effectively to the evolving needs of the office and department.
  • Demonstrated ability to contribute to a collaborative, fast-paced work environment where timely communication, teamwork, and follow-through are essential.
