Our client, a leading organization in nutraceuticals, is seeking a Demand Planner to join their team. As a Demand Planner, you will be part of the Planning Department supporting cross-functional teams. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong analytical skills, a collaborative spirit, and a customer-focused mindset, which will align successfully in the organization.
Job Title: Demand Planner
Location: West Hills, CA
Pay Range: $45-$55 hr
Shift: M-F 8am - 5pm (Tues-Thurs in office/ Mon & Fri remote)
Duration: 6 month
What's the Job?- Develop and manage account-level demand forecasts using historical data, market intelligence, and customer-specific inputs.
- Build and maintain financially aligned revenue plans, ensuring consistency between demand forecasts, sales targets, and financial outlooks.
- Utilize Kinaxis (Rapid Response) to create, run, and enhance demand planning models, scenarios, and simulations.
- Apply statistical forecasting techniques (e.g., time series analysis, regression) and evaluate forecast accuracy and bias.
- Partner with Sales, Finance, Marketing, and Supply Chain teams to incorporate promotional plans, customer insights, and market trends into forecasts.
- Bachelor’s degree in supply chain, Statistics, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- 2+ years of experience in demand planning, forecasting, or related analytical roles.
- Hands-on experience with enterprise Planning software (e.g., Kinaxis), particularly demand planning and scenario modeling.
- Strong understanding of account-level planning and how demand forecasts translate into financial revenue plans.
- Proficiency in data analysis tools (e.g., Excel, SQL, or similar); comfort working with large and complex datasets.
