Position: GLOBAL GRANTS MANAGER – Health Strategy & Non-Traditional Funding

Part of the Global Health & Impact Strategy Division at JPG Enterprises.

JPG Enterprises (JPGE) is seeking a highly strategic, opportunity-oriented “Global Grants Manager – Health Strategy & Non-Traditional Funding” to expand JPGE’s access to creative, cross-sector, and non-traditional funding channels.

This role is designed for a funding strategist who understands that modern capital formation extends beyond conventional grants. The successful candidate will sit within JPGE’s Global Health & Impact Strategy (GHIS) Division to identify, structure, and pursue funding opportunities across foundations, innovation funds, economic development vehicles, public-private initiatives, tourism, workforce development, wellness, housing, and hybrid funding ecosystems
.

This position complements JPGE’s Health & Institutional Funding Strategy function by focusing on emerging, unconventional, and strategically aligned capital sources that support JPGE’s expanding portfolio of initiatives, ventures, and projects.

Strategic Mandate
  • Identify and activate funding pathways beyond conventional grants structures
  • Translate innovative, hybrid, and venture-driven initiatives into fundable opportunities
  • Expand JPGE’s capital stack through creative funding mechanisms and cross-sector vehicles
  • Serve as a strategic bridge between ventures, partnerships, and capital sources
  • Operate as a funding strategist and architect rather than a transactional proposal writer
Strategic & Non-Traditional Funding Development

Research, identify, and evaluate non-traditional funding sources, including but not limited to:

  • Economic development & regional growth vehicles
  • Workforce & housing-related funding initiatives
  • Tourism, hospitality, and destination-driven funding programs
  • Wellness, lifestyle, and community impact funds
  • Public-private partnership opportunities
  • Corporate foundation and hybrid funding models
Funding Architecture & Narrative Strategy

Translate JPGE’s non-traditional business lines and ventures into funder-aligned proposals, including initiatives related to:

  • Executive housing & wellness-aligned accommodations
  • Hospitality & lifestyle service platforms
  • Real estate-adjacent and destination-driven projects
  • Retreats, experiential programs, and hybrid ventures
  • Develop concept notes, proposals, sponsorship frameworks, and funding briefs tailored to unconventional funders.
Pipeline, Systems & Opportunity Tracking
  • Build and maintain a rolling pipeline of strategic funding opportunities.
  • Develop internal frameworks for evaluating non-traditional funding viability.
  • Track deadlines, engagement strategies, and conversion pathways.
  • Partner with leadership to prioritize high-leverage opportunities.
Cross-Divisional & Venture Alignment

Work across JPGE’s Global Capital & Development divisions and ventures to:

  • Identify fundable elements within emerging initiatives
  • Structure funding strategies for hybrid and innovative business models
  • Align funding logic with growth, partnerships, and market positioning
  • Collaborate closely with the Health & Institutional Funding Strategy function to avoid duplication, maximize energy, and leverage opportunity
External Positioning & Strategic Support
  • Prepare briefing materials, opportunity analyses, and funder strategy notes.
  • Support leadership conversations where funding structures require creative framing.
  • Provide insight on creative funding pathways and capital diversification strategies.

Overall success in this role is measured by the identification, structuring, and activation of viable funding opportunities that produce measurable capital inflows, strategic partnerships, or funded pilots.

Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s [or Master’s] degree or equivalent professional experience in Business, Economics, Public Policy, Economic Development, Philanthropy, Innovation Strategy, or related fields.
  • 5+ years of experience in grants, funding strategy, partnerships, venture development, or capital formation.
  • Demonstrated success in navigating non-traditional or hybrid funding environments.
