Job Responsibilities
- Processes payroll for multiple employee groups, including timecards, retro pay, lump‑sum payments, deductions, adjustments, and specialized compensation while ensuring accuracy and compliance with federal, state, and local regulations.
- Manages pay changes and communicates updates to employees and managers; responds to and resolves payroll inquiries internally and from external entities (e.g., VOEs).
- Prepares and distributes termination and adjustment checks, maintains payroll data within payroll systems, and runs reports across tools such as ADP, MMC, and Tableau.
- Compiles earnings, tax, deduction, and leave summaries; reconciles billing data for supplemental payments; and supports internal audit and reporting needs.
- Strong knowledge of payroll regulations.
- Proficiency with payroll systems (e.g., ADP) and reporting tools.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities.
- High accuracy and attention to detail.
- Strong analytical skills for reviewing payroll activity and ensuring data integrity.
In addition to the above qualifications, candidates may bring experience in advanced payroll reporting, process improvement initiatives, and cross‑functional collaboration with finance and HR teams.
