About the Role
The Business Development Manager is a pivotal role responsible for expanding and strengthening Mundial Media’s publisher ecosystem. You will identify and secure new partnerships while managing relationships with existing publishers to optimize their performance. This role requires a strategic thinker with strong negotiation skills and a deep understanding of digital advertising technologies.
Key ResponsibilitiesPublisher Acquisition & Growth
Identify, evaluate, and secure new publisher partnerships to expand Mundial Media’s reach.
Lead contract negotiations, securing agreements that align with company objectives and foster mutual growth.
Monitor market trends and strategies to inform business development initiatives.
Relationship Management
Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with publisher partners.
Serve as the primary contact for publishers, addressing inquiries and resolving issues promptly.
Performance Optimization
Collaborate with publishers to optimize their performance on our platform, ensuring alignment with KPIs.
Analyze performance metrics and provide actionable insights to drive improvements and renewals.
Strategic Insights & Reporting
Track key metrics related to publisher acquisition, retention, and performance.
Present detailed reports and recommendations to senior leadership to inform strategic decisions.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
Partner with Sales, Product, and Account Management teams to develop and refine publisher offerings.
Ensure seamless alignment between publisher needs and advertiser demands.
Industry Engagement
Represent Mundial Media at industry events, conferences, and networking opportunities to promote our platform and establish new relationships.
Required Qualifications3-7 years of experience in publisher development, business development, or a related role in digital advertising or ad tech.
Strong understanding of digital advertising technologies, including programmatic platforms, ad exchanges, and content monetization strategies.
Proven track record of successfully acquiring and managing publisher partnerships.
Excellent negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, communications, or a related field.
Experience using analytics tools to drive insights and optimize performance.
Comfortable presenting to internal and external stakeholders.
Willingness to travel as needed.
Proficiency in tools such as Salesforce, Asana, and Microsoft Office.
Fluency in Spanish required; additional language skills are a plus.
