Avsar Construction is a growing construction and facilities services company delivering high‑quality solutions across complex building environments. We are seeking an experienced Field Supervisor – HVAC to support field surveys, system assessments, and collaborative construction evaluation efforts across multiple sites.
Position SummaryThe Field Supervisor – HVAC is responsible for identifying, documenting, and assessing building systems and components, with a strong focus on HVAC and related infrastructure. This role requires hands‑on construction knowledge, the ability to interpret existing conditions (including concealed systems), and collaboration with multidisciplinary field teams.
Key Responsibilities- Identify and collect building component and system data at active and existing project sites
- Enter and manage data using various digital tools and platforms (tablets, laptops, smartphones, etc.)
- Apply construction knowledge to identify building systems located behind walls, ceilings, and floors
- Assess the overall condition and estimated remaining service life (RSL) of building system components based on professional experience and established guidelines
- Work collaboratively with other trade surveyors to gather quantities, measurements, and standard system information
- Conduct and support ad hoc site surveys as needed
- May supervise staff or survey participants and serve as a technical resource to field teams
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university in Engineering, Architecture, or Construction Management
OR
- Candidates without a bachelor’s degree must have at least ten (10) years of relevant experience
- Up to four (4) years of experience may be substituted for the required degree on a year‑for‑year basis
- Six (6) or more years of full-time, paid, professional experience working with on‑site construction management teams
- Experience coordinating with campus administrators, facility representatives, faculty, or staff in active building environments
- Strong background in HVAC systems and building infrastructure
- Experience performing facility condition assessments or system lifecycle evaluations
- Ability to work independently in the field and as part of a collaborative team
- Strong communication and documentation skills
- Field‑based role requiring travel to multiple sites
- Combination of indoor and outdoor work environments
- Use of digital devices for documentation and reporting
