Construction Superintendent – Self-Storage

We are seeking an experienced Construction Superintendent to oversee self-storage construction projects in the Los Angeles market. This position is responsible for managing all on-site activities from mobilization through project closeout, ensuring projects are delivered safely, on schedule, and to the highest quality standards.

This is a hands‑on leadership role for someone who understands the unique requirements of self-storage facilities
, including structural systems, MEP coordination, tenant improvements, and operational layouts.

• Lead all day-to-day field operations for assigned projects
• Manage subcontractors, vendors, and site personnel
• Oversee ground-up and renovation self-storage construction
• Maintain project schedules and coordinate trade sequencing
• Enforce company safety policies and OSHA standards
• Conduct daily jobsite meetings and safety briefings
• Coordinate inspections with city officials and third-party inspectors
• Ensure work is performed in compliance with plans and specifications
• Track project progress and provide updates to Project Management
• Manage material deliveries, logistics, and site access
• Maintain accurate daily reports, schedules, and documentation
• Identify and resolve field issues proactively
• Support project closeout including punch list, inspections, and turnover

• Minimum 5 years of experience as a Construction Superintendent
• Direct experience with self-storage or storage facility projects required
• Strong background in commercial construction
• Proven ability to manage multiple subcontractors and project phases
• Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills
• Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications
• Proficient with jobsite documentation and reporting
