Position DetailsThis is a full‑time position with the Los Angeles Unified School District.
Responsibilities- Work under the supervision of Senior Schedulers and Project Schedulers to provide construction schedule review comments for contractor‑generated Baseline Schedules and Monthly Schedule updates based on LAUSD review templates.
- Assist the scheduling team in creating and populating various schedule‑related reports in Excel and P6 software.
- Create Earned Value Curves based on LAUSD EVA template guidelines.
- Perform QA/QC on contractor schedule submittals for conformance with contract scope and requirements.
- Analyze schedules for proper use of program level standard codes, layouts, and reports necessary to ensure data integrity.
- Perform QA/QC on P6 program schedules and validate logic ties to ensure conformance with scheduling guidelines for various project types.
- Update the master program schedule with as‑built start and finish dates while coordinating input from various Facilities teams on projected/forecast sequential start/finish dates.
- One (1) year full‑time paid professional experience responsible in scheduling for an Owner or General Contractor, preferably on multiple educational facilities or public works projects.
- Graduation from a recognized college or university with a bachelor’s degree in engineering, architecture, engineering, or construction management.
- Proficiency in Primavera Latest Version (P6 v19) and MS Office Suite.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to build efficient working relationships with project teams and department staff.
- Superior organizational and planning skills.
