Job Summary

We are immediately seeking an experienced

Construction Site Supervisorwith a minimum of ten (10) years of light commercial and tenant improvement supervision experience, specifically within retail and restaurant environments.

The Construction Site Supervisor is responsible for the daily on-site leadership of assigned projects, ensuring schedules, quality standards, safety compliance, subcontractor performance, and site organization meet company expectations. This role is critical to delivering projects on time, on budget, and at the level of quality our clients expect.

Key Responsibilities Project Oversight & Coordination
  • Read and interpret full construction drawing sets daily, maintaining a thorough understanding of all project details.
  • Proactively manage and push schedules, effectively stacking trades for maximum efficiency.
  • Coordinate materials, fixtures, appliances, and deliveries to prevent conflicts and delays.
  • Host and document weekly subcontractor meetings to review progress and address issues before escalation.
  • Develop and manage site logistics plans including job office setup, staging, dumpsters, portable facilities, fencing, and signage.
  • Maintain a full-sized drawing set onsite and redline drawings to produce accurate as-builts.
Quality Control & Installation Standards
  • Review all installation guides and operations manuals to ensure proper installation and warranty protection.
  • Hold subcontractors accountable for workmanship and quality.
  • Streamline subcontractor operations without sacrificing quality.
  • Develop corrective action plans to recover schedule delays.
Safety & Compliance
  • Enforce company safety program and OSHA standards.
  • Host mandatory monthly safety meetings.
  • Issue PPE to visitors and guests.
  • Promptly document and report all on-site incidents and accidents.
  • Coordinate with inspectors and manage inspections, permitting, testing, and required observations.
Jobsite Management & Documentation
  • Open jobsite daily on time; manage sign-in procedures; secure and lock site daily.
  • Maintain clean, organized, and hazard-free jobsite conditions (including hands-on cleanup when necessary).
  • Accept, inspect, and document all deliveries.
  • Track and maintain project inventory.
  • Utilize Procore for RFIs, daily reports, photos, and schedule updates.
  • Maintain accurate daily documentation and reporting.
  • Respect project budgets and proactively plan purchases to prevent unnecessary expenses.
Qualifications & Experience
  • Minimum 10 years of retail, restaurant and / or single family construction supervision experience
  • Strong knowledge of construction practices, means, and methods.
  • OSHA certification (Plus) If you do not have, we will aid you in getting this.
  • Procore experience required (or equivalent project management software).
  • Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel.
  • Professional appearance and strong communication skills.
  • Fluent in English (Spanish proficiency is a plus).
  • Valid driver’s license and reliable vehicle
  • Strong interest inhigh-end retail, hospitality, or interior construction
  • Strong ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications
  • Highly organized with strong attention to detail
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States.
  • Must own and utilize basic construction tools.
