Our client are looking for aSuperintendentwith hands‑on experience overseeinglighting, electrical, and MEP scopeswithin a design‑build environment.

About the Role

You will manage all on‑site construction activities, ensuring safety, quality, and schedule performance across lighting, electrical, and integrated MEP upgrades. You’ll work closely with project managers, engineers, and design‑build partners to keep the project aligned from kickoff through closeout.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead daily field operations for lighting, electrical, and MEP scopes on design‑build projects.
  • Coordinate and supervise subcontractors, ensuring clear expectations, sequencing, and accountability.
  • Maintain project schedules, track progress, and drive critical path activities.
  • Conduct daily site walks, safety meetings, and quality inspections.
  • Review drawings, submittals, RFIs, and design updates to ensure constructability and alignment with field conditions.
  • Collaborate with design teams to resolve conflicts quickly and maintain design intent.
  • Manage material deliveries, equipment needs, and site logistics.
  • Maintain strong relationships with owners, inspectors, and project stakeholders.
  • Ensure compliance with company standards, building codes, and safety regulations.
  • Support project documentation, reporting, and closeout activities.
Qualifications
  • 5 years of superintendent or field leadership experience in commercial or industrial construction.
  • Strong background inlighting, electrical, or MEP systems.
  • Experience working in adesign‑build environment.
  • Proven ability to lead and coordinate multiple subcontractors.
  • Strong understanding of construction sequencing, scheduling, and field operations.
  • OSHA 30 certification preferred.
  • Ability to read and interpret construction drawings, electrical plans, and specifications.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills.
