Position Title: Superintendent

The Superintendent role is essential for ensuring the successful execution of construction projects within a dynamic environment. This position requires a hands-on approach, as the Superintendent will oversee various aspects of construction related to restaurant projects. Candidates must possess a strong background in the trades, as well as the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.

This role offers the opportunity to play a critical part in keeping projects running smoothly and on schedule, with a strong emphasis on organization and proactive material coordination. Salary Range: $110,000 - $115,000 / year DOE

Superintendent Responsibilities:

• Ensure compliance with building codes and regulations
• Collaborate with project managers to facilitate smooth operations
• Identify and manage subcontractors effectively
• Oversee remodels and repairs in addition to new construction
• Engage in hands-on tasks such as carpentry, plumbing, and electrical work
• Procure materials as needed, balancing responsibilities across roles
• Be present on job sites to clarify project requirements
• Verify the accuracy of construction work and ensure cost-effective methods are used
• Adapt to using new materials and finishes as required

Superintendent Requirements:

• Restaurant experience
• Kitchen hood experience, particularly with exhaust systems and air balance
• 5+ years of relevant experience, including a minimum of one year in a supervisory role
• Open to candidates transitioning from trades, ideally with current experience as a Superintendent
• Bilingual in Korean and/or Spanish is preferred
• BA Degree is preferred
