- Project Scheduling and Coordination Support
- Assist in the preparation and updating of 3‑week look‑ahead schedules and resource allocation plans.
- Coordinate with subcontractors, suppliers, and internal team members to ensure smooth workflow and timely delivery of materials.
- Preconstruction Execution
- Execute assigned preconstruction documentation tasks, ensuring all necessary paperwork is processed and filed prior to trade mobilization.
- Document Control and Management
- Independently manage and process key project documentation (submittals, RFIs, change order documents).
- Maintain organized, up‑to‑date project files and ensure all documentation adheres to contract compliance standards.
- Maintain and update project records, including as‑built drawings.
- Quality and Safety Oversight
- Assist in the implementation and monitoring of quality control procedures, ensuring field work meets project specifications.
- Conduct regular assigned site walks and inspections to identify and document potential quality or safety issues.
- Assist in enforcing safety regulations and participate actively in safety meetings.
- Cost Tracking and Reporting
- Track and report on project costs against the budget.
- Assist in subcontractor buyout by sending RFPs, leveling bids, and drafting scopes of work for review.
- Assist in review of subcontractor pay applications and invoices for final approval.
- Draft change order documentation for review by senior staff.
- Communication and Reporting
- Provide timely and accurate updates on project progress, schedule, and potential issues to the Assistant Project Manager or Project Manager.
- Facilitate effective communication with architects, engineers, subcontractors, and other key stakeholders as directed.
- Problem‑Solving
- Identify and bring potential project challenges to the attention of the Project Team and actively support the implementation of solutions.
- Bachelor's degree in Civil/Structural Engineering, Construction Management, or Architecture.
- 3–5 years of experience in construction project engineering, preferably on multifamily, commercial, or institutional projects.
- Experience with complex multifamily projects is a plus.
- Strong communication, organizational, and problem‑solving skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment and collaborate with diverse stakeholders.
- Excellent problem‑solving and decision‑making abilities, even under pressure.
- In‑depth knowledge of construction methods, materials, and equipment.
- Proficiency in project management software (e.g., ACC, Procore, Bluebeam) and other relevant technologies.

Engineer‑In‑Training (EIT) or Construction Management certifications (preferred). OSHA 30‑hour construction safety certification.
