Job Description Role We're hiring a Construction Foreman to lead field operations across a diverse portfolio of projects throughout Southern California. This role is for an experienced construction leader who can manage crews, coordinate multiple moving parts, maintain safety and quality standards, and consistently deliver projects on schedule.
Pacific West Construction Services is a growing General Contractor specializing in underground utilities, hydro excavation, multifamily developments, tenant improvements (TI), swimming pool construction, asphalt paving and repair, site development, concrete work, and specialty infrastructure projects.
In this role, you will own day-to-day field execution from project startup through completion. You will oversee labor, subcontractors, equipment, materials, safety compliance, quality control, and communication with project management teams. You will often manage multiple scopes of work simultaneously while ensuring productivity, accountability, and operational excellence.
Responsibilities- Own daily field operations from mobilization through project completion.
- Lead and supervise construction crews, subcontractors, and vendors across multiple project scopes.
- Coordinate labor, equipment, materials, inspections, and deliveries to maintain project schedules.
- Read and interpret plans, specifications, utility drawings, and project documents.
- Maintain jobsite productivity while ensuring quality workmanship and safety compliance.
- Conduct daily safety meetings and enforce OSHA and company safety standards.
- Identify field challenges early and develop solutions to avoid delays and cost impacts.
- Track production, labor hours, and daily progress through reporting and documentation.
- Coordinate closely with Project Managers, Superintendents, Engineers, clients, and inspectors.
- Maintain organized project records, photos, reports, and field documentation.
- Lead crews with professionalism, accountability, and a safety-first mindset.
- 5+ years of construction leadership experience as a Foreman, Lead Foreman, Superintendent, or equivalent role.
- Experience managing field operations for commercial, civil, utility, multifamily, or site development projects.
- Strong knowledge of construction methods, equipment, materials, and jobsite sequencing.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, specifications, and construction drawings.
- Experience coordinating subcontractors, inspections, and project schedules.
- Strong understanding of OSHA regulations and construction safety practices.
- Proficiency with construction software such as Procore, Bluebeam, Buildertrend, or similar platforms.
- OSHA 30 preferred (OSHA 10 minimum).
- Valid California Driver's License and reliable transportation.

- Daily production goals are achieved and accurately documented.
- Clients, inspectors, and project stakeholders experience professional communication and reliable execution.
- Field operations scale effectively as Pacific West continues to grow.
Southern California.
Travel between project sites is required.
Some projects may require early morning starts, overtime, or weekend work depending on project needs.
$28-$40 per hour DOE. Final compensation will be based on experience, leadership ability, project expertise, certifications, and demonstrated results.
