Assistant Project Manager - LSC

Responsibilities

• Assist in the planning, management, and execution of assigned construction projects.
• Manage project quality standards, owner expectations, and subcontractor management.
• Master all project engineering tasks.
• Oversee financial management and reporting for the construction project.
• Assess and respond to customer needs.
• Assists the Project Manager and Superintendent in preparing the Project Management Plan (PMP) and its implementation.
• Organize and conduct pre‑construction planning meetings.
• Resolve regulatory requirements as necessary.
• Manage project materials and equipment procurement within budget constraints and the project delivery schedule.
• Negotiate owner and subcontractor change orders.
• Lead or delegate project engineering tasks when applicable.
• Control payment of job costs based on document review and approval.
• Participate in monthly job cost reviews to declare project status.
• Coordinate all final close‑out procedures for the project, including as‑built drawings, punch lists, final billing, occupancy permits, owner acceptance, project manuals, warranty letters, subcontractor close‑out, and pertinent documents.

• Bachelor’s degree in a commensurate field of study.
• Minimum of two or more years of commercial construction experience.
