Job Description
The Laborer is responsible for performing various tasks to aid daily operations at a construction site. Duties may include loading and unloading tools or raw materials, assembling scaffolding or other pieces of equipment as well as the safe operation of scissor lifts and Bobcats. The Laborer performs physical labor throughout the building process.

- Responsible for the demolition of building structures and MEP equipment.
- Loads and unloads materials and equipment.
- Builds and takes down scaffolding and temporary structures.
- Digs trenches, compacts earth and backfills holes.
- Operates and tends machinery and heavy equipment.
- Follows instructions from supervisors and implements construction plans.
- Assists skilled tradespeople in their duties.
- Performs duties related to opening and closing the site.
- Maintains the site clean and orderly, meeting sanitation standards.
- Reads and interprets safety and employment manuals and other work‑related documents.
- Assists in an entire team effort.
- Complies and follows all safety regulations and maintains a clean and orderly facility.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
- Ability to perform physical labor.
- Basic knowledge of workplace safety procedures.
- Highly motivated and able to work independently.
- Ability to follow directions.
- Organized and able to prioritize and multi‑task.
- Effective verbal and written communication skills.
- Good reading skills, preferred.
- OSHA 10 certified (preferred but not mandatory).
- Highly efficient and trained in the use of power/hand tools.
- Trained in the use of scissor lifts and telehandlers.
$25-30/hour
