LAUSD Headquarters Building in DTLA Position

Start Date:

Approximately July to August Salary $241,300 to $247,500 per year as a full-time employee, plus full company benefits, including 10 paid vacation days, 11 paid holidays, and 5 paid sick days. Company medical insurance and 401K plan

Position Overview:

The successful candidate for this position will be assigned to the LAUSD Facilities Program Position Functions:
Support the Design Manager and Owner Authorized Representative during the preconstruction phase in the following efforts:
1. Asist in defining and reviewing the Project Requirement Document scope of work and schedule including interim housing requirements
2. Make value engineering recommendations at the outset of the design
3. Comment on the design professional’s deliverable identifying inconsistencies, ambiguities, conflicts, errors and omissions in the progress plans to reduce RFIs and Change Orders
4. Ensure documents are coordinated between design disciplines.
5. Prepare comprehensive constructability review of pre-bid construction documents
6. Coordinate the above efforts with the Design Manager and Owner Authorized Representative in a collaborative way 7. Perform other duties as assigned
