Turner & Townsend Heery are seeking to engage Project Management professionals ranging from mid to senior level talent in the aviation construction market sector! We are ideally looking for candidates with prior aviation experience, ideally with prior experience with any of the following project types:
baggage handling, Wayfinding, terminal expansion, terminal renovation, and civil and utilities
.
- Manage stakeholders including architects, engineers, and supply chain to deliver compliant projects.
- Analyze, track, and effectively manage critical milestone activities to avoid schedule slip.
- Verify that effective project governance, processes and systems are utilized.
- Ensure application of best practice on all projects.
- Produce formal project status reports and other reports as required.
- Monitor the progress of multiple construction projects simultaneously to ensure that the approved design standards are being applied correctly.
- Manage the interface between all suppliers through monthly trackers and weekly reviews.
- Manage the flow of project information between the project team through regular meetings and written communications.
- Forecast and update key project milestones.
- Manage and monitor local design teams in accordance with commission criteria.
- Provide technical support to owners, architects, general contractors and regional stakeholders.
- Respond rapidly to RFIs from the field.
- Provide expertise for cost control, value engineering, and constructability guidance where required.
- Independently review status reports, drawing submittals, timelines and costs from architects, contractors and suppliers.
- Manage client relationships—assist in developing excellent working relationships with clients to maximize new opportunities.
- Provide strategic advice to project teams on approaches that can be adopted to achieve both clients’ objectives and business objectives.
- Capture key information and learnings generated from each project for knowledge management.
- Identify ways to improve internal systems and processes.
- Adhere to SOX control responsibilities where applicable.
- Bachelor’s degree in construction management, architecture, engineering or a field related to construction.
- Minimum 5–7 years of relevant experience.
- Strong organizational and management skills—ability to work effectively and collaboratively with the broader team.
- Proficiency in Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, Procore, and construction project management tools.
The salary range for this full‑time role is $170K–200K per year. Ranges are determined by role and level and represent a good faith effort to provide a fair and equitable salary. This range is a reflection of base salary only, not of a total compensation package. Turner & Townsend reserves the right to pay more or less than the posted range, depending on candidate’s experience and qualifications.
