Construction Manager/ Foreman, Site Manager
Turelk, Inc. is seeking a Superintendent to provide onsite supervision, management, and leadership for construction projects throughout Southern California. This role is responsible for coordinating field operations, managing subcontractors and schedules, maintaining safety and quality standards, and ensuring projects are completed efficiently and successfully.
The ideal candidate is highly organized, proactive, and comfortable managing multiple moving parts in a fast-paced construction environment.

- Walk project sites daily to monitor activities, identify issues, and assist in planning upcoming work
- Coordinate subcontractors, inspections, deliveries, and onsite logistics
- Maintain current and accurate construction documents, including revisions, changes, and updated plan sets
- Track long-lead materials and procure minor miscellaneous materials as needed
- Pull permits, coordinate required inspections, and interface with inspectors
- Supervise field labor and subcontractor performance to ensure work is completed according to scope, schedule, and quality expectations
- Review submittals and shop drawings and assist with RFIs, change orders, and document revisions
- Perform quality control inspections and field verification of dimensions
- Complete and manage project punch list items in a timely manner
- Prepare and maintain project schedules throughout construction
- Identify schedule risks, delays, or conflicts and communicate impacts proactively
- Coordinate owner and tenant trades to maintain project progress
- Maintain daily logs and required project documentation
- Control labor hours and general conditions
- Review and approve labor time sheets for accuracy and proper cost coding
Maintain permit documentation, punch list sign-offs, and job-related records - Ensure accurate coding of materials and minor purchases
- Conduct daily jobsite walks to ensure compliance with safety, health, and environmental standards
- Identify and correct unsafe conditions
- Lead and document weekly safety meetings
- Maintain a clean, organized, and professional jobsite environment
- Resolve and report onsite issues or emergencies as needed
- 5+ years as a Superintendent in TENANT IMPROVEMENT Commercial Construction
- Strong background in structural, sitework, high-rise, and tenant improvement projects
- Experience with Microsoft Project Schedules is a MUST
- OSHA 30 certification required within 30 days of hire
- First Aid/CPR & Harassment Prevention certifications (preferred, training available
- Ability to read and interpret architectural and engineered plans, specifications, and project documents
- Strong understanding of building codes, OSHA regulations, submittals, RFIs, and scheduling
- Proficiency with Microsoft Outlook and project management software
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a deadline-driven environment
- Ability to navigate active construction sites, including climbing ladders, walking uneven surfaces, and standing for extended periods
- Ability to occasionally lift, push, pull, or carry up to 50 pounds
- Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions
- Must be available by phone and responsive to business needs outside normal business hours as required
