ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Promotes safety and site cleanliness on job site and implements, enforces, and effectively manages Webcor’s safety policy and procedures.
  • Assists in the management of the day‑to‑day field operations of assigned project(s) including planning, coordinating, and sequencing work, materials procurement, and supervising subcontractors and vendors to ensure work is completed on time and within budget while adhering to Webcor’s high quality standards.
  • Leads, develops, and mentors more junior staff, provides timely and regular feedback, and successfully interfaces with clients, vendors, inspectors, subcontractors, project management, and design teams.
  • Provides detailed coordinated breakdown of subcontractor’s daily work activities and distributes to subcontractors on a weekly basis.
  • Assists in managing changes in schedule and scope, LDR reviews, and ensures that LDRs are completed regularly, using LDRs to assess project gains and losses.
  • Manages daily logs, understands subcontracts, and manages documentation related to OSHA and city permitting processes.
  • Evaluates hoisting requirements for the job, determines vertical transportation requirements using knowledge of OSHA requirements, and assists in organization and layout of project site logistics.
  • Monitors and enforces the QA/QC program and oversees execution of the Webcor Punch List Program, measures quality and craftsmanship, and ensures required inspections are scheduled, coordinated, performed, tracked, and closed out.
TECHNICAL SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE REQUIRED
  • Working knowledge of prime contract and contract types, including lump sum, GMP, hard bid, negotiated, design‑build, etc.
  • Working knowledge of cost control, budgeting, bid leveling, accurate cost reporting, billing and forecasting.
  • Ability to lead design coordination efforts.
  • Familiarity with most aspects of building to include site work, structure, finishes, envelope, MEPs.
  • Intermediate computer skills; proficiency in MS Office, Win Est, OST, Bluebeam.
  • Knowledge of AutoCAD, Revit, other BIM software, and database information flow/costing software (CMiC a plus).
  • Familiarity with project management software and advanced ability to process RFIs and submittals.
  • Ability to identify and address safety issues.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience, typically four years of construction or engineering experience including three years as a Project Engineer or equivalent, with a strong background in Tenant Improvement. LEED AP and/or GA preferred. OSHA 10 certification required (OSHA 30 preferred). Webcor will provide training if not already certified.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

Performance requires climbing permanent and temporary stairs, using construction hoists, ladders, negotiating work areas, with vision requirements (close, peripheral, depth). Use of hands for tools, sit, talk, hear, stand, climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, crawl. Exposure to moving mechanical parts, high precarious places, fumes, airborne particles, weather, electrical shock, moderate to loud noise.

COMPENSATION

Range of base pay is $120,000–$132,500, actual pay based on skill level and experience.
