Facilities Project Manager

Responsibilities

• Perform increasingly complex technical duties related to the public agencies’ facilities construction program.
• Provide project coordination and management support for department activities and projects.
• Prepare and maintain records, reports, and files related to facilities planning and construction.
• Ensure compliance with applicable laws, codes, rules, and regulations.
• Review, analyze, and recommend professional services contracts and oversee facility planning and design contracts.
• Plan the renovation, modernization, and construction of public facilities.
• Assist in fiscal analysis, budgeting, invoicing, and payment requests related to facilities planning.
• Act as liaison between client personnel and outside agencies regarding planning requirements, schedules, and issues.
• Manage special projects as directed and maintain current knowledge of relevant laws and regulations.
• Provide information to facilities management and recommend corrective actions for trends or problems.
• Assist in construction close‑out processes.
• Operate computers and assigned software (Excel, PowerPoint, MS Project, Bluebeam, CADD) to input data and develop reports.
• Represent the client at meetings, conferences, and governmental hearings; prepare and deliver oral presentations.

• Bachelor of Science in Construction, Construction Management, Engineering, QS, Architecture, or related field.
• Minimum of 5+ years experience in facilities management, construction project management, or engineering.
• Preferred certifications: CCM, PMP, PE, AIA, LEED.

The salary range for this full‑time role is $84,400.00–$ per year. Ranges are determined based on position, geography, client and industry experience and level, and represent a good‑faith effort to provide a fair and equitable salary.
