Concrete Worker in Los Angeles

Position

We are hiring a skilled Concrete Worker to join our team in Los Angeles. This is an urgent job opportunity with a salary of 1200$ per week and we welcome Indian candidates who do not require English proficiency. As a Concrete Worker you will be responsible for constructing, repairing and maintaining concrete structures according to specifications and safety standards.

• Prepare construction site by setting up scaffolding and other necessary equipment.
• Measure and mark surfaces to lay out work using measuring tape, levels and other tools.
• Mix, pour and spread concrete using various hand tools or machines according to construction plans.
• Smooth and finish freshly poured concrete using hand trowels or power tools.
• Create concrete forms using wood or metal molds following blueprints or project instructions.
• Install expansion joints for weather-related movements in large concrete slabs.
• Cut, break or drill existing concrete structures as needed for repairs or renovations.
• Maintain clean and safe work area by cleaning up debris and tools after each shift.

• Proven experience as a Concrete Worker or similar role in the construction industry.
• Ability to read blueprints and follow construction plans accurately.
• Basic knowledge of mixing ratios for different types of concrete.
• Physically fit with the ability to lift heavy materials and work in various weather conditions.
• Familiarity with all necessary construction tools such as trowels, levels, saws etc.
• Excellent hand-eye coordination and attention to detail.
• Good teamwork skills with the ability to follow instructions from supervisors.
