THE

WORK:
  • You’ll manage Furniture, Fixtures, & Equipment (FF&E) selection, procurement, scheduling, installation, and move-in/relocation services for college projects.
  • You’ll coordinate with Procurement using best-value or low-bid public contracting methods for all FF&E purchases.
  • You’ll collaborate with CPD, architects, relocation managers, and user groups to define scope, budget, schedule, and FF&E needs.
  • You’ll assess and secure swing space, including developing scope for any construction or FF&E needs for temporary use.
  • You’ll evaluate reuse potential of existing furniture and equipment in coordination with college and A/E teams.
  • You’ll develop and validate FF&E budgets at project milestones, ensuring alignment with overall project budget.
  • You’ll attend weekly project meetings to ensure accurate FF&E layouts, specs, and integration of new and reused items.
  • You’ll review design documents to confirm coordination of infrastructure and utility needs for FF&E functionality.
  • You’ll work with Technology Project Manager to plan, procure, and install IT equipment such as computers, printers, and MFIDs.
  • You’ll oversee FF&E and move budgets/schedules, including value engineering to maintain cost control.
  • You’ll schedule and manage FF&E deliveries, installations, punch lists, and move-ins, including swing space transitions.
  • You’ll coordinate specialty vendors, asset tagging, surplus disposition, and key transfers for occupied spaces.
  • You’ll maintain documentation and reporting for FF&E, move management, and closeout activities; submit regular updates to leadership.

    The work location for this role is onsite with our clients and partners to enable delivery and cultivate our client relationships. There will be both day and night shift assignments.
HERE’S

WHAT YOU’LL NEED:
  • 4 year College Degree in the areas of Architecture, Interior Architecture, Interior Design, Construction/Project Management, Planning, Facilities Management or related area required
  • 7 - 10 years of project management and coordination experience in fields related to Move/Relocation Management, Project Management, Interior Design, Facilities Management, or Coordination/Procurement of Furniture, Fixture and Equipment. In lieu of a four-year college degree, 11 – 14 years of relevant experience is required
