Position SummaryThe Construction & Site Development Project Manager will oversee the planning, permitting, construction, and execution of new venue developments and renovation projects throughout the United States. Acting as the owner's representative, this individual will coordinate closely with architects, engineers, consultants, contractors, landlords, and local agencies to ensure projects move efficiently from pre-construction through grand opening.
The successful candidate will be comfortable spending time in the field, proactively solving problems, and managing multiple projects simultaneously while working in a collaborative, fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities Construction Management- Manage projects from initial site evaluation through construction completion.
- Coordinate with general contractors, subcontractors, architects, engineers, landlords, and consultants.
- Conduct regular site visits to monitor construction quality, schedules, and progress.
- Review RFIs, submittals, change orders, punch lists, and contractor updates.
- Identify construction issues early and help develop practical solutions.
- Monitor project budgets, schedules, milestones, and deliverables.
- Support project closeout and grand opening activities.
- Coordinate permitting and entitlement activities with local municipalities.
- Track permit submissions and approval timelines.
- Work with consultants to resolve plan check comments and jurisdictional requirements.
- Monitor compliance with building codes and regulatory requirements.
- Assist with due diligence, site investigations, and feasibility reviews.
- Coordinate building systems and specialty infrastructure requirements.
- Maintain project schedules and status reports.
- Facilitate communication between internal leadership and external partners.
- Coordinate meetings and maintain project documentation.
- Ensure project deliverables are completed accurately and on time.
- Collaborate closely with architects, interior designers, engineers, and consultants throughout the design and construction process.
- Review architectural drawings, construction documents, and specifications to ensure alignment with operational requirements, project budgets, and construction feasibility.
- Provide practical construction input during the design phase to help identify potential issues, improve constructability, and support efficient project execution.
- Coordinate design revisions, RFIs, and consultant communications to maintain project schedules and minimize construction delays.
