Role Description
   Arcadis is seeking a detail-oriented and organized Contract Administrator to join our Mission Critical practice in Columbus, OH. The successful candidate will have a demonstrated and proven track record in contract administration for data center, mission critical, and complex technical facility projects, and will be directly responsible for all architectural contract administration functions on project sites. The position involves overseeing projects and project teams, including management of intermediate to junior-level staff to successfully deliver project objectives throughout construction.

Role Accountabilities
   Oversee and manage the contract administration process for mission critical and data center projects while acting as the primary on-site point of contact between clients, contractors, consultants, and project managers.

Maintain responsibility for contract administration deliverables and ensure they are delivered accurately and in a timely manner, meeting client expectations and project requirements.

Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures, as well as applicable legal, regulatory, and industry requirements.

Review and interpret construction documents while conducting site reviews to assess project adherence to contract documents, specifications, applicable codes, and quality standards.

Prepare contract administration documentation including site review reports, deficiency reports, site instructions, contemplated change notices, and change orders.

Work closely with project teams to manage field changes, negotiate contractual matters, and resolve construction and coordination issues throughout the construction phase.

Process, review, and respond to Requests for Information (RFIs), shop drawings, and technical submittals.

Coordinate revisions to contract documents, provide technical recommendations, and advise clients on project-related construction matters.

Support architectural and multidisciplinary project teams with constructability reviews, commissioning coordination, and management of scope changes during construction.

Monitor, review, and process project closeout documentation while conducting periodic QA/QC site visits.

Qualifications & Experience
   Post-secondary education in Architecture, Architectural Technology, or a related field.

Minimum 10 years of contract administration experience, preferably involving data centers, mission critical facilities, industrial, institutional, or large-scale commercial projects.

Experience supporting the construction of high-performance facilities with complex mechanical, electrical, and life-safety systems.

Strong knowledge of Building Codes requirements is preferred.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Ability to establish effective working relationships within multidisciplinary project teams and with external stakeholders.

Demonstrated experience with a variety of project delivery methods including Design-Bid-Build, Design-Build, and Construction Management.

Proven technical understanding of building science, construction contracts, coordination of building systems, and constructability considerations.
