Profile Requirements:- Demonstrated experience as an Estimator within the construction industry, preferably on similar project types
- Strong knowledge of construction methodologies, materials, and current market rates
- Ability to accurately read, interpret, and measure from architectural and engineering drawings
- Proficiency in estimating software, take-off tools, and Microsoft Excel
- High level of numerical accuracy with strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to liaise with multiple stakeholders
- Strong time management skills and the ability to manage multiple estimates under tight deadlines
- Relevant qualification in Construction Management, Quantity Surveying, Engineering, or a related discipline
- Prepare detailed and accurate cost estimates for construction projects across all stages, from early budgeting through to final tender submission
- Review and interpret architectural drawings, engineering plans, specifications, and contract documentation to fully understand project scope
- Complete detailed quantity take-offs for materials, labour, plant, and subcontractor works
- Source, evaluate, and compare supplier and subcontractor quotations to ensure competitive and compliant pricing
- Identify potential project risks, cost variations, and opportunities for value engineering or cost savings
- Work closely with project managers, engineers, and site teams during pre-construction and handover phases
- Maintain accurate estimating records, cost databases, and pricing schedules for future reference
- Assist with tender submissions, post-tender clarifications, negotiations, and contract award processes
