We are seeking an Estimator, Sales, PM for a direct hire opportunity in Los Angeles, CA, supporting fire sprinkler and fire protection construction projects. This role is ideal for a detail-oriented professional with 3-5 years of experience who enjoys estimating, project coordination, customer communication, and managing projects from turnover through completion. This position offers the opportunity to work in a collaborative, team-focused environment with supportive leadership, strong internal communication, and exposure to both office and field operations.
The right candidate will contribute to accurate estimates, well-managed project schedules, strong customer relationships, and profitable project execution.
- Review construction contracts, fire protection drawings, specifications, change orders, and project documents to support accurate estimating and project execution.
- Estimate and manage fire sprinkler system installations while tracking schedules, labor, materials, budgets, purchase orders, RFIs, and change orders.
- Coordinate with general contractors, owners, subcontractors, field teams, design staff, and internal departments to keep projects moving efficiently.
- Conduct field surveys, support project kickoff meetings, monitor fabrication schedules, and maintain thorough project records.
- Communicate professionally with customers and contractors regarding schedules, progress reports, changes, billing, and project requirements.
- Perform estimating tasks including hydraulic calculations, seismic bracing layout and pricing, underground system bids, hydrant calculations, and database updates.
- Salary: $100,000 to $120,000 per year.

- Estimate fire sprinkler and fire protection projects based on drawings, specifications, and contract requirements.
- Manage multiple construction projects, including schedules, budgets, change orders, RFIs, billing, labor, and material tracking.
- Coordinate project handoffs, kickoff meetings, field communication, fabrication schedules, and customer updates.
- Perform hydraulic calculations, hydrant calculations, seismic bracing layout, and underground system estimating.
- 3-5 years of relevant experience in estimating, project management, construction coordination, fire protection, or a related engineering services environment.
- Ability to read and understand construction drawings, fire protection drawings, contracts, permits, submittals, and change orders.
- Strong analytical thinking, problem-solving ability, and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to work professionally with customers, contractors, field personnel, design teams, and internal departments.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities, respond to changing project conditions, and maintain organized records.
- Strong work ethic, positive attitude, customer service mindset, and willingness to collaborate with and learn from others.
- Ability to track project financials, identify budget changes, submit change orders, and support overall project profitability.
- Experience with fire sprinkler system installations, fire protection estimating, or design coordination.
- Familiarity with hydraulic calculations, seismic bracing, underground fire protection systems, and hydrant calculations.
- Prior experience working with general contractors, owners, subcontractors, and field crews.
- Strong understanding of construction project schedules, fabrication coordination, permits, submittals, RFIs, and change order processes.
