Senior Art Director

Roles and Responsibilities

• Drive the development of brand creative output across campaigns, events, digital, visual merchandising, packaging, brand identity and events
• Lead and inspire the design team in developing creative concepts, themes, and campaigns that align with the brand's aesthetic and goals
• Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including brand, social, PR, and digital to execute creative strategy and cohesive storytelling
• Stay abreast of beauty, culture, and fashion trends, market insights, and consumer preferences to inform design decisions and strategies
• Provide guidance and feedback to the creative team, fostering creativity, skill development, and a culture of collaboration
• Co-manage and co-direct creative agencies
• Track brand & campaign performance and can interpret data to influence larger creative strategies
• Work with cross-functional teams and agencies to set project deadline and content goals
• Inform creative process and resource strategies for projects both in-house and externally based on business strategy and roadmap
• Responsible for executing on-time and on-budget
• Work with creative producer and project manager to plan resources against project needs
• Help to maintain a compelling, elevated visual identity for Kirby, ensuring brand consistency across all channels.

• 10+ years of relevant experience
• A Bachelor s degree in Graphic Design or a related field
• Experience in beauty or a CPG brand, startup is a +
• Ability to be visionary and deliver concepts that are out of the realm of what a typical beauty brand does while also thinking commercially and socially native
• Experience managing designers and editors
• Ability to work in a fast paced environment with tight deadlines
• Must have an elevated taste level with a portfolio that demonstrates it (personal or professional)
• Passion for beauty
