The Production Team is a dynamic, all-hands-on-deck team with a unique and fast-paced workflow. The Producer will be responsible for supporting, ideating, and spearheading a variety of elements, creative and operational, to make and promote Prager
U products. The ideal candidate will be able to master Prager
U’s mission, voice, and brand identity in order to create compelling materials to promote our shows and initiatives.
This role requires the ability to juggle multiple fast-moving projects concurrently, hyper-organization, extreme attention to detail, and strong communication skills. This is a new position combining elements of multiple existing positions—the ideal candidate will be enthusiastic about helping to integrate this role into existing functions.
Duties and Responsibilities- Under the guidance of the Heads of Production and Senior Producers, assist with or potentially drive creative and operational development of new content lines or products, marketing materials, written elements, and more to meet Prager
U goals - Internalize and embody Prager
U’s brand and values to generate aligned creative concepts - Function as a creative resource bridging the gap between Production and Marketing. Understand Marketing goals in order to guide CTAs, brand voice, and overall consistency; meanwhile, collaborate with show producers to understand the “point” of each product and to effectively and truthfully encapsulate it in marketing materials
- Work closely with the Production Operations team to allocate resources and drive projects under your purview
- Function as a “first line of defense” for making and reviewing video cuts, written copy, scripts, calls to action, titles, etc
- Devise promotional videos to help market existing content. Spearhead creative development and work with operations and technical staff to execute
- Write and edit scripts, treatments, creative briefs, video descriptions, titles, social media captions, and more, and effectively communicate creative visions and gameplans to leadership, technical staff, and across other parts of the company
- Research potential talent including guests/presenters, vendors, etc. and weigh into who we engage and how. Ideate short ads and social media promos with upcoming guests to help market Prager
U content, factoring in individual guests’ background, audience/reach, and capacity - Work within short deadlines, limited budget and changing priorities. Maintain a high-energy, no-ego, proactive, and flexible mentality in an ever-shifting environment.
- Quality control including technical, spellcheck, playback, end cards, etc. for your content lines and others
- Assist with other projects as needed
- More than 5+ years of production experience, including strong writing abilities, understanding of production processes, and foundation in marketing
- The ability to become highly familiar with the Prager
U library of content and to uphold Prager
U’s core values and standards - Demonstrated ability to write and create marketing materials for social media audiences and website needs
- Able to thrive in an extremely fast-paced environment (seriously… we’re not exaggerating!)
- Strong leadership and execution skills—a proactive, high-energy contributor with thick skin and a solutions mindset. Some projects you might own; others you will support or collaborate. Be willing to wear whatever hat the project requires
- Superior communication skills and tech-savvy
- Top‑notch organizational and time‑management skills. Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, prioritize appropriately, and be flexible
- A true Team Player, proactive, helpful, honest, calm under pressure, and absolutely no ego
- Ability to work with startup-type-hustle and not over complicate. Flexible and able to “roll with the punches” within an ever‑changing game plan, and able to problem‑solve on the fly

The salary target for this role is $90,000 - $110,000+. Final offer amounts depend on multiple factors including candidate experience and expertise, and most recent market data. This position is eligible for an annual bonus based on personal and company performance, in addition to our robust benefits package.
