We’re partnering with a leading entertainment company to find a talented Experiential Design Lead to support their creative team. This hybrid role, based on-site with a flexible schedule, is expected to last between 10 and 26 weeks. The position offers an exciting opportunity to shape innovative attractions and immersive environments, collaborating closely with cross‑functional partners to bring bold concepts to life.
ExperientialDesign Lead Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with creative managers and producers to establish and uphold the visual language and design standards across all phases of development.
- Translate team discussions into clear visual outputs such as concepts, layouts, mood boards, and 3D models to support the design process.
- Develop comprehensive design packages and reference materials for external vendors, including mood boards, material references, color schemes, and detailed shop drawings.
- Oversee the creation of proof‑of‑concept mockups during production to ensure design fidelity.
- Maintain the integrity of the brand strategy and experiential pillars throughout the design, articulating the rationale behind creative decisions to internal and external partners.
Qualifications:
- At least 8 years of experience in experiential retail, exhibition, theatrical, or environment-based entertainment design, with a mix of studio and onsite work.
- Proven experience designing for both temporary and permanent environments.
- Strong ability to translate brand strategy and visual identity into compelling design directions.
- Knowledge of IP integration within environmental design and various application contexts.
- A diverse portfolio illustrating various design styles and mediums, with a passion for innovation and emotional guest engagement.
- Proficiency with digital design tools such as Sketch Up, Maya, Blender, Rhino, as well as Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign.
- Understanding of production methods, materials, and finishes.
- Excellent verbal and digital communication skills, along with strong organizational abilities using digital tools and Google Workspace.

Eligibility requires working over 30 hours per week on an assignment lasting at least 10 weeks.
