Jr Textile Designer

The Jr Textile Designer will support a creative design team on a variety of projects from initial concept through final production. This role partners closely with a Senior Designer and is ideal for someone with strong graphic and illustration abilities, a sharp eye for detail, and a proactive, flexible approach to work.

A key focus of this position is creating original textile prints and artwork for juniors and kids categories, translating concepts into production-ready designs that align with brand and client direction.

• Contribute to the development of print designs across multiple collections, including all-over prints, placements, and graphics.
• Create, refine, and prepare textile prints for production, ensuring proper repeat, color separation, and file organization.
• Build and update line sheets to accurately reflect current product assortments.
• Create detailed tech packs and specifications to hand off to production teams.
• Design branding and packaging elements such as hangtags, carding, and gift or display boxes.
• Collaborate closely with a Senior Designer on client-focused projects and seasonal initiatives.
• Photograph trims, hardware, and other product details for internal reference and presentations.
• Perform photo editing, retouching, and organization of digital design assets.
• Provide general design and administrative support to the team as needed.

• Demonstrated strength in graphic, illustrative, and textile print design

• Strong grasp of core design principles, color, layout, and a high level of attention to detail.
• Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite
  , specifically Illustrator and Photoshop.
• Ability to prioritize and handle multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
• Effective communication skills and comfort working collaboratively with cross-functional partners.
• Positive, solution-oriented mindset with the ability to learn quickly and adapt to changing needs.

• Background or prior work experience in kids or juniors fashion accessories or apparel is a plus.
