Please Note This is a Hybrid role requiring 3 days per week on-site. You must be able to commute to Playa Vista, CA or Hoboken, NJ
. If you are Hoboken-based, note that travel to Los Angeles may be required.

Overview

As the Associate Creative Director, Art for Style Social
, you’ll lead the social‑first creative ideation and execution for the company’s Style content across fashion, beauty, and home strategic business units. Working closely with the Associate Creative Director (Copy), you’ll shape ideas that resonate culturally, drive conversation, and elevate Style as a destination. You’ll guide and mentor the Art Director
, collaborate across production and marketing, and bring a blend of leadership skills and hands‑on creative expertise to the table.

The ideal candidate has extensive experience in the fashion, beauty, or lifestyle sectors, a proven track record of managing high‑performing corporate teams, and a portfolio that demonstrates a ‘social‑first’ mastery.

Best‑in‑Class Creative
  • Translate strategic insights into social‑first concepts that elevate Style as a destination and resonate authentically with fashion, beauty, and home audiences.
  • Drive ideation and concept development, craft compelling brand worlds with modern references, and create polished presentations.
  • Support the Creative Director to oversee production and guide post‑production through final delivery of assets.
  • Develop production Points of View that suit resources, budgets & strategic goals, including production briefs to guide third‑party partners (content creators/influencers, production teams & agencies).
  • Stay deeply attuned to industry trends, consumer behaviors, and competitive landscapes to inform and inspire creative decisions.
  • Be able to shoot content on iPhone.
Brand Consistency
  • Define and champion the look of Style on social within the company’s broader creative ecosystem, ensuring all content feels social‑first, inspiring, and “company‑right.”
  • Align copy and visuals to brand moments (e.g., seasonal campaigns) while maintaining an always‑on, social‑native perspective.
  • Maintain high standards of quality and craft throughout the conceptual and execution process, ensuring that final creative meets or exceeds expectations.
Team Development
  • Contribute to and grow your team with optimism and enthusiasm, pursuing an award‑winning in‑house model.
  • Foster positive, constructive relationships with junior members within your team.
Efficiency & Agility
  • Operate fluidly between strategy and execution, balancing creative excellence with social speed.
  • Partner with Creative Account Management and Production to keep timelines tight and workflows efficient.
  • Anticipate pivots and feedback with adaptability, ensuring work streams stay on track without compromising quality.
Client/Stakeholder Satisfaction
  • Build trust with cross‑functional partners by delivering excellent creative that meets business goals.
  • Confidently present work, articulating the strategy and creative rationale behind the ideas.
Qualifications
  • Proven experience as an Associate Creative Director or similar role in an agency or in‑house creative environment.
  • Portfolio that demonstrates brand social‑first content across fashion, beauty or home.
  • Deep understanding of social platforms, storytelling, and cultural trends.
  • Leadership and collaboration skills with a track record of mentoring creative talent.
  • Deep understanding of brand storytelling, customer insights, and creative strategy.
  • Proficiency in key creative tools (Adobe Creative Suite, Figma, Google Slides, Microsoft Office, Slack).
  • Minimum 8 years of creative experience across art direction, or design.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Design, Communications or related field preferred.

The target hiring compensation range for this role is $70.00 to $76.00. Compensation is based on several factors including, but not limited to, education, relevant work experience, relevant certifications, and location.
