Founded in 1920, Akerman is recognized as one of the country’s premier law firms, with more than 700 lawyers throughout the United States. The firm is seeking a Creative Services Manager to work under the direction of the Senior Creative Services Manager. The Creative Services Manager will help to design, revise, and produce internal and external digital and print materials with an emphasis on using AI to deliver innovative solutions to complex design issues and enhance the effectiveness of the Firm’s business activities and client development.
Job Responsibilities- Provides design support to the Senior Creative Services Manager;
- Under the supervision and direction of the Senior Creative Services Manager, produces electronic and printed materials including, but not limited to, the Firm’s branding, brochures, invitations, newsletters, presentations, publications, signage, tribute ads, pro bono projects and photo editing;
- Assists in research and helps with selection of gift/promotional items for clients, recruiting and Firm events;
- When directed, acts as a liaison with photographers, printers, apparel and other vendors;
- Assists with the organizing and maintaining project files online; and
- Performs other duties, as assigned.
- Extensive experience and understand of using AI in design, including ChatGPT, Gemini, Canva, Leonardo, among others;
- Extensive knowledge of and ability to operate PC design software programs – Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, InDesign, Photoshop);
- Knowledge of HTML, Microsoft Office applications including Word and PowerPoint required;
- Familiarity with web-based design and other high tech media, as well as ability to learn new software skills;
- Understanding of and proficiency in the use of typography, layout/composition and image manipulation for outstanding graphic design impact and effective visual communication;
- Ability to work within design standards/guidelines;
- Ability to elevate concepts into high-end, elegant design solutions;
- Must have an eye for detail and a commitment to excellence;
- Familiarity with technological aspects of design with respect to vendor relations;
- Ability to specify and coordinate production of printed and digital materials;
- Ability to create precise mock-ups and clear project presentations;
- Strong initiative and ability to work in highly demanding, professional environment;
- Ability to take direction on creative input and alternate concepts to improve product and process;
- Ability to interact with attorneys and staff at all levels;
- Must maintain a professional demeanor, be client service oriented; and
- Ability to work overtime, as needed.
Full-Time;
Monday - Friday (Hybrid)
The firm’s anticipated hiring range for this position is $80,000 - $105,000 annually. Actual compensation will be determined based on a variety of factors, including position, geographic location, education, training, and experience.
