Position OverviewUCLA Trademarks & Licensing is seeking a creative and visually driven student Content Creator to help bring UCLA’s California lifestyle brand positioning to life. This role will focus on capturing lifestyle photography and creating engaging social media content that showcases UCLA licensed merchandise both on campus and across Los Angeles.
From iconic campus backdrops to beaches, neighborhoods, coffee shops, and cultural hotspots, this position will help tell the story of UCLA as a globally recognized brand rooted in the energy and lifestyle of California.
This is an ideal opportunity for students interested in photography, branding, fashion, marketing, and social media strategy to gain hands‑on experience working with one of the most recognizable collegiate brands in the world.
Key Responsibilities- Capture high‑quality lifestyle photography featuring UCLA licensed merchandise in authentic campus and Los Angeles settings
- Conceptualize and execute content that reflects UCLA’s California lifestyle positioning
- Edit photo and short‑form video content for social platforms
- Assist with content planning aligned with product launches, retail moments, and seasonal campaigns
- Maintain a cohesive visual aesthetic aligned with UCLA brand standards
- Monitor social trends and recommend fresh, relevant content ideas
- Collaborate with the Trademarks & Licensing team on creative direction and campaign execution
- Current UCLA student in good academic standing
- Experience creating lifestyle‑driven content for Instagram, Tik Tok, or similar platforms
- Proficiency in photo and/or video editing tools (Adobe Creative Suite, Lightroom, Cap Cut, Canva, etc.)
- Strong understanding of social media trends and platform best practices
- Ability to work independently, meet deadlines, and manage time effectively
- Comfortable traveling locally within Los Angeles for content capture
- Experience with lifestyle, fashion, or brand photography
- Experience contributing to or managing a brand social media account
- Strong understanding of UCLA’s brand identity and California market positioning
