The Floater Parking Attendant is a versatile and customer-focused team member responsible for supporting various parking operations, including valet services, cashiering, and general parking assistance. This role requires adaptability, reliability, and a commitment to delivering excellent service while covering shifts for absent or unavailable staff across multiple parking positions.

  • Greet guests courteously and assist with vehicle drop-off and retrieval.
  • Safely drive, park, and retrieve guest vehicles.
  • Maintain accurate valet tickets and logs.
  • Direct traffic flow and assist customers in locating available parking.
  • Monitor parking areas for safety and compliance.
  • Provide general information and assistance to guests.
  • Operate point-of-sale systems to process parking fees.
  • Handle cash, credit card transactions, and issue receipts.
  • Balance cash drawer and reconcile transactions at end of shift.
General Support:
  • Fill in for scheduled or unscheduled absences across parking roles.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of parking areas and booths.
  • Report incidents, maintenance needs, or customer concerns promptly.
  • Follow all company procedures
  • Issue and enter tickets into valet system
  • Conversational English and ability to work in a busy environment
  • Proficient with technology
  • Able to agree to, and maintain, cash handling policies
  • Answer telephone in a prompt and courteous manner
  • Always communicate professionally with guests, clients, and teammates
  • Well organized and able to multitask
Qualifications
  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
  • Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
  • Previous experience in valet, cashiering, or parking operations preferred.
  • Ability to work independently and adapt to changing assignments.
  • Strong customer service and communication skills.
  • Ability to stand, walk, and work outdoors for extended periods.
  • Must be able to drive Manual Stick Shift Vehicles
