Dental Assistant

This is an on-site role for a Dental Assistant based in Encino, CA. The Dental Assistant will be responsible for supporting the doctor in providing excellent oral care to pediatric patients. Responsibilities include preparing and sterilizing instruments, assisting during dental procedures, educating patients about oral hygiene, and maintaining patient records. Additionally, the Dental Assistant will ensure a clean and organized work environment in compliance with health and safety protocols.

• Proficiency in Dental Assisting, including chairside assistance and support during various dental procedures
• Knowledge of Dental Care, Dentistry, and Oral Care techniques for pediatric patients
• Experience and skills in sterilization processes, ensuring adherence to hygiene and safety standards
• Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to comfort and communicate effectively with children and their families
• Attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate patient records
• Certification in Dental Assisting and/or completion of an accredited dental assistant program is preferred
• Previous experience working in a pediatric dental office is a plus
