Lead Registered Dental Assistant
Salary: $54,962–$59,189 annually

• High School diploma or GED required
• Active Registered Dental Assistant license
• Certifications required:
  Coronal Polishing, X-Rays, Sealants
• Current CPR and First Aid certification
• Minimum of 2 years of dental clinic experience preferred
• Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred
• Strong written and verbal communication skills

Full-time leadership dental assistant role supporting high-quality patient care while mentoring and guiding a collaborative dental team in a fast-paced clinical environment.

We’re seeking an experienced and motivated Lead Registered Dental Assistant to provide both clinical support and day-to-day leadership within the Dental Department. This role partners closely with the Dental Manager and Lead Dentist to ensure efficient operations, staff development, and excellent patient experiences. The ideal candidate is a strong mentor, organized, adaptable, and committed to clinical excellence and teamwork.

• Provide chairside support to dentists using four-handed dentistry
• Lead and supervise Dental Assistants in daily workflows
• Train and onboard new dental assistant staff
• Conduct daily and weekly staff huddles in collaboration with leadership
• Assist patients by answering questions and addressing minor concerns
• Prepare treatment rooms and follow established clinical protocols
• Take digital dental radiographs and intraoral photographs per state regulations
• Perform delegated procedures including alginate impressions, temporary crowns, sealants, and coronal polishing
• Maintain and monitor dental equipment according to policy and manufacturer guidelines
• Manage supply inventory and report shortages monthly
• Monitor patient flow and ensure accurate completion of dental records
• Ensure proper sterilization and disposal of instruments and materials
• Maintain compliance with infection control, safety, and HIPAA standards
• Support health promotion and disease prevention initiatives as needed
• Assist with front office duties when required (scheduling, insurance verification, check-in/out, collections)
• Perform other duties as assigned by Dental Leadership
