Preservation Architect

We are hiring a Preservation Architect to join our team in Los Angeles

As a Preservation Architect you will be responsible for preserving and restoring historic buildings structures and sites. Your main duties will include conducting research, preparing preservation plans, supervising restoration projects, and ensuring compliance with local and national laws and regulations.

Requirements

• Bachelors degree in Architecture or related field
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in preservation architecture
• Extensive knowledge of historic preservation principles and techniques
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit and other design software
• Excellent communication and project management skills

Responsibilities

• Conduct research on historic buildings structures and sites
• Prepare preservation plans that meet the standards set by local and national authorities
• Supervise restoration projects to ensure they are carried out according to the preservation plan
• Collaborate with engineers, contractors and other professionals involved in the restoration process
• Ensure compliance with all relevant laws and regulations
• Document the progress of restoration projects and maintain accurate records
• Provide recommendations for maintaining historic buildings in good condition

This is a contract position with a competitive salary of $1000 per month.
