Working under the direction of the Design Director, you will own key design work streams across the Ready-to-Wear collection, ensuring every piece reflects the brand's elevated aesthetic, exceptional fit, and commitment to quality.

You will partner closely with Product Development and Technical Design throughout the development process, contributing hands-on design execution, fittings, sample review, and collection development.

Key Responsibilities Creative Partnership
  • Work closely with the Design Director to develop seasonal Ready-to-Wear collections in alignment with the Founder & Creative Director's vision.

  • Contribute original design ideas and solutions while maintaining a refined, timeless point of view.
  • Support the continued evolution of the Ready-to-Wear category through thoughtful product innovation and elevated design.
Design & Collection Development
  • Design assigned Ready-to-Wear categories and styles from initial concept through final product.
  • Create and maintain sketches, CADs, technical flats, design specifications, and presentation materials.
  • Support the development of seasonal color palettes, fabric direction, trims, and finishing details.
  • Develop products across dresses, tailoring, separates, outerwear, knitwear, and occasion pieces as directed by the Design Director.
  • Maintain consistency of fit, proportion, fabrication, and design across assigned styles and categories.
  • Partner closely with Product Development throughout the development calendar to keep assigned styles on track.
  • Review prototypes, sample iterations, and SMS collections; provide clear, timely design comments.
  • Participate in fittings with the Design Director, Founder, and Technical Design, identifying issues and recommending design solutions.
  • Clearly communicate design intent, construction details, and revisions to domestic and overseas development partners.
  • Maintain organized design files, sample comments, approvals, and development information in partnership with Product Development.
  • Ensure assigned garments meet the brand's luxury standards for fit, construction, and finish.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
  • Collaborate with Merchandising, Production, Marketing, and Sales throughout each season.
  • Contribute to seasonal assortment planning and product strategy with the Design Director.
  • Support styling, campaign development, and product storytelling when needed.
  • Manage assigned design deadlines and priorities while maintaining exceptional design quality.
Qualifications
  • 5–7+ years of Ready-to-Wear design experience within the luxury or contemporary women's market.
  • Strong portfolio demonstrating exceptional taste, proportion, fabrication, silhouette, and technical design execution.
  • Advanced knowledge of garment construction, fit, fabrics, and luxury manufacturing.
  • Advanced proficiency in Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, and CAD development.
