Preservation Architect

Location Los Angeles USA Salary $1800month negotiable

We are seeking a talented Preservation Architect to join our team in Los Angeles. As a Preservation Architect you will play a key role in preserving and restoring historical buildings and structures.

• Conduct thorough assessments of historical buildings and structures
• Create preservation plans and proposals
• Provide technical expertise on materials and techniques used in preservation work
• Ensure compliance with local regulations and standards for historical preservation
• Oversee restoration projects including managing budgets and timelines
• Collaborate with other professionals such as engineers, contractors and historians
• Conduct research to inform preservation decisions and techniques

• Bachelors or Masters degree in Architecture or a related field
• At least 2 years of experience in historic preservation projects preferred but not required
• Strong knowledge of historical architecture styles and techniques
• Familiarity with local regulations and standards for historic preservation
• Excellent communication skills in English
• Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively
• Attention to detail and strong organizational skills
• Biometric passport for security clearance purposes
