A recognized healthcare company in California is currently seeking a licensed Family and/or Internal Medicine Physician to join their team in Los Angeles as a Primary Care Physician.
About the Opportunity:
- Schedule: Monday to Friday
- Hours: 8am to 5pm
- Specialty:Family and/or Internal Medicine
- Patient Population: Underserved community health
- Patient Volume: 15 to 22 per day
Responsibilities:
The Primary Care Physician will:
- Diagnose and treat a variety of common medical conditions
- Manage chronic conditions, monitor patients' progress, and adjust treatment plans as needed to maintain optimal health
- Educate patients about their health conditions and help them understand their treatment options, medications, and lifestyle modifications
- Conduct regular physical examinations to assess a patient's overall health and detect early signs of diseases or health issues
- Prescribe and manage medications, including monitoring potential side effects and adjusting treatment plans as needed
- Treat common acute illnesses, injuries, and infections
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date electronic medical records to ensure continuity of care and coordination with other healthcare providers
- Perform other duties, as needed
- Licensed to practice in the State of California
- Board Certified in Family and/or Internal Medicine
