- Create a positive, inclusive culture of learning in your Chemistry classroom
- Plan and deliver engaging, standards-aligned Chemistry instruction
- Use data to inform instructional planning and assess student learning
- Build respectful, supportive relationships with students and families
- Reflect on practice and continuously improve instruction
- Collaborate with colleagues across your school and the Green Dot network
- Uphold and model Green Dot core values in daily practice
- Strong content knowledge in Chemistry and instructional skills
- Growth mindset and commitment to continuous learning
- Excellent collaboration, organization, and communication skills
- High expectations for equity and student success
- Ability to pass TB test and background check
- Passion for teaching and reflective instructional practice
- California Preliminary or Clear Single Subject Credential in Chemistry, OR
- California Single Subject Intern Credential (intern-eligible), OR
- Eligible for a Short-Term Staff Permit (STSP) or Provisional Internship Permit (PIP) with valid CPR certification (AHA or Red Cross)
Out-of-state or non-credentialed candidates should review eligibility through the California Commission on Teacher Credentialing.
Compensation- Credentialed teachers: $71,085 – $127,985 (based on education & experience)
- Intern-eligible/non-credentialed teachers: $62,316 – $63,866
