Chaminade College Preparatory is seeking a compassionate and experienced Learning Specialist and SSD Coordinator to support our diverse student body and help ensure equitable access to educational opportunities.
The Learning Specialist and SSD (Services for Students with Disabilities) Coordinator will be responsible for overseeing accommodations for students with learning differences, coordinating individualized academic support, and advocating for students' needs. This role requires a deep understanding of educational therapy, learning strategies, and a commitment to fostering an inclusive environment that promotes academic success for all students. The ideal candidate will collaborate with faculty, administrators, and families to support students' learning goals.

Qualifications:- A master's degree in special education, Educational Therapy, or a related field is preferred.
- Certification in Special Education or Educational Therapy is preferred.
- At least 3 years of experience working with students with learning differences, preferably in a high school setting.
- Strong knowledge of federal and state laws regarding students with disabilities, including Section 504 and IDEA
